Swarms of Living Creatures - Genesis 1:20-26

And God said, “Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.” So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day. And God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds—livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds.” And it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
— Genesis 1:20-26

On the 5th and 6th days God creates the creatures of the sea, the birds, the land animals, and finally mankind, as the pinnacle of his creation. Go watch a documentary of scuba divers interacting with whales. Watch a documentary on the peregrine falcon or the komodo dragon. Be absolutely amazed at God's creativity. The ingenuity of creatures and all nature comes from the mind of God. Divine intellect begets brilliant things. Finally mankind. Our intellect, together with our moral and spiritual capacity (the unseen parts of man, if you will), are collectively the "image of God."

Descartes the philosopher said "Cogito Ergo Sum" or "I think therefore I exist" but he arrived at that conclusion by deciding to doubt God. As he doubted God's existence (and the reality of all things) he realized he was thinking, which means he at least existed. But then he posited, "If I am thinking, there must have been an infinite divine mind who first created this intellect...God.” So the fact that you can doubt God is proof of His existence. But the main point is that our "minds" come from the "Mind" of God, as do our bodies and our whole existence, and our whole world. If He is our creator, then He is our master. If He is our master, then we owe Him everything. Think about that...everything. Continue that train of logic in your own mind now.
