The Kingdom was expanded in God’s people and God’s people were expanded in the Kingdom! In short, spiritual leadership gets the job done and God's people get where they’re going! Do Won Chang, founder of Forever 21 said: “Many people would expect I would be praying for something big. But that’s not the case. I pray for my personal life, my business. And I just talk to God like a friend...When I was in LA, I used to always go to church at 5 am to pray and start my day.” John 3:16 is printed on all the take home bags...there are many other examples of business leaders who make a spiritual impact on those around them.
Spiritual Leadership gets the job done, but from proper motivation and using proper means! I want to encourage each one of you to be leaders who lead others closer to Christ...moms, isn’t this what you want to do with your children? Isn’t this what you all want to represent at your workplace and in your community? Christ has led the way in his life, death, and resurrection, and sacrifice was the climactic mark of his leadership, which also must be the highest aim we aspire to, "greater love has no one than this, that he would lay down his life for his friends." Paul said he was willing to be cut off for the sake of the salvation of His brethren...and the only way you will ever be able to say that or do that (sacrifice in order to lead people closer to God), is if you have received the sacrificial love of Christ...and re-encounter that love daily...
In Prayer Today:
Ask God to give you in love the effectiveness in spiritual leadership to lead others close to Christ!
