1) Feeding Yourself for Spiritual Health Daily...

“Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.” Jude 1:21

Notice the emphasis on responsibility! You!

2) Mutual Encouragement Through Consistent Fellowship and Worship... 

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25You need your brother or sister and your brother or sister needs you! They don't need you in theory, they need you in person, especially in this age of electronic conversations, your physical presence is needed more than ever!

3) Doing Ministry, Especially Using Your Spiritual Gifts... 

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace.” 1 Peter 4:10

Herein is personal joy and purpose that leads to a full life...Serving others!

There was a Latin phrase “Incurvatus in se” used by St. Augustine, later Karl Barth, but most famously Martin Luther who said: “Our nature, by the corruption of the first sin, [being] so deeply curved in on itself that it not only bends the best gifts of God towards itself and enjoys them (as is plain in the works-righteous and hypocrites), or rather even uses God himself in order to attain these gifts, but it also fails to realize that it so wickedly, curvedly, and viciously seeks all things, even God, for its own sake.” The opposite of being curved in on yourself is believing the gospel so deeply that you are truly focused on God's glory and the good of others!
